Blandwood Mansion & Carriage House 447 West Washington St, Greensboro, NC 336-272-5003 Once home to NC Governor John Motley Morehead and now a National Historic Landmark, Blandwood was originally constructed in the 1790s as a farmhouse. In 1844, A.J. Davis designed a second addition, which transformed Blandwood into a grand antebellum mansion. It is the oldest example of Italianate architecture in the U.S. Filled with original furnishings and antiques.
